Intel Unveiled E5 Xeon Processors For Cloud Connectivity

Intel Unveiled E5 Xeon Processors For Cloud ConnectivityIntel has unveiled its new Xeon processor E5-2600 product family,to meet the demands of an increasingly connected world . a series which the chip giant hopes will provide the processing power needed to support a range of future applications. this latest range apparently offers better performance, more energy efficiency, cooler running temperatures, greater security and triple the I/O performance, with Intel saying that it gives 'the best data centre performance per Watt.'According to the prediction Intel will see at least 3 billion connected users with 15 billion connected devices by 2015.

As all of these embedded devices have connections back to the data center, they are fueling data center growth. All of this calls for enhanced technology, both in the data centers and the devices themselves.

Use of cloud services has increased quite rapidly for storage and this rapid growth was termed 'utility computing' . As per the  previous generation, the “record-breaking” Xeon E5 family is touted to be 80 percent faster and more than 50 percent more energy efficient.

Intel isn’t alone But has already formed over 50 alliances with other cloud builders for reference architectures available for the Intel Xeon E5 family. Some of those partners include VMware, Dell, HP and IBM.  Intel Has proved to be the latest leading company to deploy solutions designed to enable the handling and analysis of huge volumes of information .
