The Game Maker Nintendo will release "Ando Kensaku" on April 29 as the first joint project between the two companies, a Nintendo spokesman said.

In the game, which is to be given a Japan-only release for Nintendo's Wii console, players compete by correctly guessing the most popular web search terms, and the word with the most hits wins, the spokesman said.

The game, which will use Google's search engine and allow four players to play together, will sell for 4,900 yen ($52), the spokesman said.

The International Chamber of Commerce said its report showed that digital piracy could escalate and cost media and entertainment industries euro240 billion in retail revenue and 1.2 million jobs by 2015.

"For us, file sharing is another word for theft," Agnete Haaland, the head of the International Actors Federation told reporters.

Teens frequently pass music and movies to their friends without realizing that they are illegally sharing copyrighted material, said William Maunier, who leads the UNI trade union representing media company workers.

"You have to educate young people," he said.

Industry representatives did not say how they thought growing Internet piracy should be tackled, saying they just want people to see the extent of the problem.

They said they also wanted to show the costs to the European Parliament which last year tried unsuccessfully to challenge France's tough measures against illegal downloaders.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy had advocated a "three strikes and you're out" rule, under which Internet use would be tracked and users caught downloading would be warned twice before their Internet access would be cut off for a year.

Britain is also considering similar rules.

The report written by Tera Consultants said that more than 14 million people in the European Union work in creative industries such as television, publishing and radio.

It claims that over 185,000 jobs were lost because of digital piracy in 2008.
It's also interesting to note that illegal file sharers actually contribute far more to music industry coffers than their law-abiding peers. One survey conducted by Davos showed that 42 per cent of illegal downloaders were actually listening to their ill-gotten tunes with a view to buying the real deal, and that P2P pirates spent £77 a year on average on properly-acquired music compared to just £44 shelled out by those who comply with copyright laws.

It then uses the rules it has learned this way to determine the most likely translation in future. The first is a setting which controls what appears in your inbox. "I wrote Avatar in 1995. Avatar was the most interesting part of my film career," says Cameron who envisaged a digital cinema revolution to realise his dream.

"It was not capturing the characters that was crucial, but it was CG (computer generated) which was the real challenge. I needed tight shots of CG to make the characters look real," Cameron says.

But the biggest challenge, the filmmaker admits, was to market the movie. "I wanted thousands of digital theatres around the world," he says.

However, at the end, Cameron says it was not the technology which ensures the film's success. "Story, characters and emotions are more important than technology," he concludes.

Developers will be having big oppurtunity to offer applications to merchant and consumers that PayPal doesn't have the interest or resources to build itself, a PayPal official said Tuesday.
"It could be an invoicing application for a merchant or a 'daily deals' application for consumers," said Osama Bedier, vice president of PayPal's Platform Business Unit and Emerging Technologies.
"We want to help these guys become successful. It's not just a matter of 'here are our tools, go use them.' We have to be where they are and be active in the developer community," he said.

For the first time, Olympians will be wearing medals that contain gold, silver and copper recovered from old electronics. The metal supplier, Teck Resources, recycled household appliances, electronics and cables and recovered metals from computer parts and circuit boards through smelting. The 2010 Olympic medals are the largest and heaviest medals to date with e-waste material making up the following percentages in each one:
